What does it mean....

When a guy/boyfriend does not always reply to a girlfriends/partners messages and calls?

Say he is fine with the girl when he is with her I.e he says that he cares about her and likes her a lot and really means it and said that he does not mind her calling or txting everyday but he does not always reply to the calls or messages.

Does this mean that he is not interested/there is something wrong?

Or do guys not like contact everyday with your girlfriend/he is not in the mood for talking?

I really would apreciate your opinions on this.

He just might not be in a talking mood. HE could just put his phone down or something and want time to relax i do that sometimes and forget to respond.

He's trying to make sure she understands that she is not his only priority. It's not necessarily a bad thing, it might just be clear boundaries.

Sorry had to get it out of the way... I think your reading into it too deeply. I'll be doing something, get a text message silence it so i can finish what i'm doing then forget it ever rang... 3 hours later i'll be like "Man, she/he hasn't texted me back in a long time!" Then when i turn on the phone be like, "Oops shit".

So i think your still ok... I agree though he's most likely setting up communicational (is that a word?) boundaries.
