So There's This Girl Right.....
Once upon a time, there was this girl named Kee (That's what I called her anyway), and this girl had been friends with a boy named Danny (That's me by the way).
This story began way back 6 or 7 years ago, and they began chatting to each other on an AOL chat room. At first it was just another person to say "hey, how's it going?" when they entered the chat room, but after a while, it progressed, they'd sit chatting in PM's (That's personal messages) about random stuff, then the stuff would become deeper and more heartfelt.
Anyway, after a length of time, they exchanged mobile numbers and the conversations carried on via text messages and phone calls... Looooooong phone calls.
They decided that they would meet as Danny (that's me don't forget) had just passed his driving test and got his new car. So off he went to London to meet Kee, and when he eventually arrived after getting lost for around 4 hours (Don't travel in London by car) they met up, had a pint at the pub (Just one, as Danny was driving). Then really just drove around, while Kee wrote all over car! Tut!
As time progessed, they stayed friends, but would drift in and out of closeness, generally if the other had a partner then they would tend to back off, due to jealousy issues and such like.
Jumping forward in time now (That was just a little back story btw), to the present day or there abouts anyways (Note: we are both single)....
Danny had just split from a three year relationship with someone who I guess when he looks at it now, he had just settled for. The thought of being alone I guess was a bit to much to handle after the things he'd been through in his life, that and the fact he didn't want to have to move back into his mothers house at the age of 26!
That relationship ended and that's where he ended up anyway.... Nice waste of three years of his life!
Through the break up and the issues he was dealing with in his head, there was just one person who took the time and just spoke to Danny properly, ya know. Just let him have his say then when he was done she'd step in and be as honest as she could (Was Kee btw, incase you didn't guess!), no matter the view she had, she would give her honest opinion!
Over this period the two shared thoughts feelings and some rather deep down emotional scars and past mistakes. This got them closer than they had ever really been before, and neither really knew how to handle the situation.
So they talked through what it could be, and if they ever did get together what the up and downs would be.
During all this Danny was moving from Lossiemouth in Scotland, back to his hometown of Swindon, England. And Kee was still living in London, now though she has her own flat and a beautiful 8 month old boy named Jake.
They continued thier what seemed to be never ending conversation on various topics plus the obvious main one (Them).
They came to the conclusion that with no pressure they would meet up again and see how it went and if nothing more then they should always remain friends. But he hoped for a little more, if he was honest (And she had said she did too). For although Kee was this hardened woman now with a wicked tongue at times, he still saw the angel that laid inside her soul. And on occasions she would show it to him through various little comments or with small texts that made him feel kind of special and gave him a deep inner smile as well as the silly little grin on his face.
These texts could really be anything, but the one that hit him the most and really made him smile was when she merely sent "Thinking of you xX".
The date for want of a better word is all setup to go forward on the 7th of April 2009, they are going to visit the Cotswold Wildlife park with little Jake and have a day out.
However, as the date draws closer, Kee seems distant and getting further away from him.
Till a couple of days ago, since they've been talking in this manner he'd pretty much always woken with a smile that was gifted by a good morning text from her, plus a few x's. Over the last few days though, his morning smile has been more of a sombre gaze as he discovers he hasn't recieved this text or any other, and rarely recieves a reply when he texts her.
He has probed for the reason, but her answer is just "I'm feeling moody" and then she'll go on to just give him enough conversation and politeness I guess to make the little hope he was losing replenish itself... But now he leaves himself questioning if he's done something wrong, puzzled as to why she changed her attitude towards him.... Was he to much? Did he text her to often?(she always answered and often sent more than him) Did she have cold feet and wished she had never touched on the subject of a relationship? Or did she maybe even have someone else and didn't know how Danny would take it? He just doesn't know.
So here he is sitting in his bedroom, writing it down on a forum for the world to see. Maybe she needs space, or maybe she is testing him in someway... He doesn't really know what to do! Should he text again? Or should he wait on her to contact him? The confusion is not a good thing for state of mind right now.
The story will continue, as will life, I for one, just hope that for once they each get thier happy ending that they both deserve after the trials life has already forced upon them.......... The kind you'd wish upon no one and they both have an extremely rocky ride... Both being close to death, at different points.
And advice and thoughts are free to share so please if you've stopped by this post.... Share yours? I need some advice.... This is orignally a blog post btw, and I find it easier to write from outside if you know what I mean?
