Betrayal. My story about Vesper

Each of us has once met a betrayal, feeling of emptiness and never-ending disillusion caused by it. Larger or smaller betrayals we happen to meet, “enjoy “during the whole life. Years go on but we can not get used to it, resign ourselves to it. Pretty often the betrayal comes unexpectedly, sometimes we get betrayed by the people we do not expect it from. However, it’s worth considering – does everything happen so suddenly and all at once? In fact nothing happens just “for case”. Everything has its reason.

But it is a skill to notice, see and predict it. Mostly feeling of betrayal is only a bill drawn by life for not being attentive enough, for not being able to take stock of the situation and the other person, to understand and listen to him. It should be kept in mind we are different, each having different views about life, moral criteria and after all – different househhold conditions. All that is self-evident to us is not the same for everybody. Sometimes people have many choices – to sacrifice career, families and the level of relatives’ lives due to leading moral principles in connection with you. It should be tried at least to understand it. Because understanding leads us to wordlessly difficult Forgiveness. It is a heavy task but forgiveness brings peace in our heart. For you. Anger, hatred mainly corrode yourselves. Take care of yourself if others have not done it yet. Unfortunately the old saying “Near is my shirt, but nearer is my skin”is true. Does it hurt? Yes.... Life is a survival game. Difficult to accept but it must be understood and the main point is – it must be taken into consideration. It has always been like that and it will be. Faithful, noble knights now walk around in fairy-tales, even legendary italian mafia with its poetical but cruel anti-betrayal silence rule “Omerta” has fallen into pieces.

It is not fair to nag at young people for experiencing and surviving betrayal. Young strivers probably have enough knowledge acquired in hard work but they miss life experience given by time. Wisdom is a combination of knowledge and experience. It comes only during lifetime. But in this “set” of experience a certain amount of betrayal is included, too. To graduate from life’s school, we should also learn from our bumps. Sometimes we must outlive the feeling of being thrown down with your face on the ground and then pulled some distance farther. It hurts but there is no use of crying for ages, a question should be asked to ourselves – why did it happen and what am I going to do not to repeat it? A right answer must be find to this question. The sooner, the better. Otherwise it’s not long till the new bump or face on the tamac. Compassion of others might serve as a first compress but nothing more. Sufferer might be symphatized by others but not too long because everybody has “its own shirt”, only you yourself really feel the pain.

Watching carefully, thinking and judging help to notice oncoming betrayal in time. Precaution and prudence is the only right answer and solution. Sometimes it is not a betrayal but life’s dictated painful choice. Those who have seen the previous film about James Bond – “Casino Royale” – will again understand that betrayal is not always a betrayal as it seems. It was a film where the main hero was not the stern and sinewy James Bond. The real hero was the smart and tender Vesper acted by Eva Green.

Life is as it is. We must be able to notice and evaluate the real values. One of the most valuable is the feeling of safety and trust. People rate it as the highest one. Less they will be disappointed even in hard times, higher you will be evaluated. It is a good feeling. And what’s more – it will be paid back with interest in some time. Not always in measures of money amount. But is everything measured in numbers? Years passing by we realize other units of measure as well. They do not deceive, betray.
