OK, what the heck does this mean?!

I had an acting exercise with my friend the other day and we did repetition (with the calls being whatever emotions u can see the other person's experiencing) and after a short while it got really intense and... weird.
We somehow got really serious and he said he wanted to hug me, and he gradually came closer to me while we were still practicing. Well it was tense and we lost our lines couple of times. And then when we were really close and I thought we were heading somewhere else I had to break the tension by grabbing my cup of tea.

Very stupid of me, I know, cuz I like him so much! :-(
I so want to think he likes me too but I'm old enough to not be that naive. And besides, he has a girlfriend, though thru our friends I know it's not serious..But damn I can't get him out of my mind!!
