The Rain in Spane

Met this cute spanish girl. I've known her for about a year now. Not really friends. She works with a housemate and I go visit the restaurant at least once or twice a week. I broke up with me ex about 3 months ago and it killed me. So I decided it's time to quit moping around and get out there. I asked me housemate to put in a good word and he did. Her reply was he's too tall. Is that a real excuse or is she just letting me down easy? I am 197cm and I don't think I am THAT unattractive. She is around 140cm and cute as hell. We are around the same age. Mid 20's.

I eventually persuaded her to come clubbing with me next weekend but a club isn't exactly a place to be romantic. Do you think I should make a move? If so how?? In a club??
