Frustrated with long distance relationship

I love my girlfriend to death, but I'm starting to get nervous that she's losing interest.

She's away on business until August (gone since March). She works crazy hours (sometimes 15 hour days) and doesn't even have weekends off. Lately, she's been calling me and then getting off the phone after 10 minutes because she's tired (and rightly so!). She's also not been responding to my text messages (one or two a day, saying things like "I love you" or putting down an inside joke to make her smile). I send her flowers occassionally when she's had a tough day.

I just feel like I'm doing all the work and that makes me frustrated, but then I think about how hard she's working and I feel guilty for feeling frustrated.

It's about another 7 weeks or so until she comes home, I'm just afraid that she's losing interest in me and it's going to spell trouble for us when she gets back.

Am I crazy for thinking all of this??

what do u want from her? she can't magic more time in her day for u...

so she's spending some time away from u to work, just wait till she comes back, if u keep thinking negative then u will lose her anyway.

Johnny - you sound like a good guy - she is lucky to have you.

However, my previous relationship was also similar. She probably feels guilty when you keep sending her nice stuff and she can't reply. Perhaps (although this seems like the worst thing to do), lay off it a bit.

Let her come to you.

Johnny, don't worry so much. She's probably just at the end of her rope, worked to exhaustion. Do NOT pile more upon her by insisting that she address these issues right now. It might be a reasonable request, but it's almost sure to end your relationship.

I know it's hard, but you might just have to suck it up and wait for the next seven weeks to go by. LDRs are really freaking hard and they can kill relationships that would last for years otherwise. Think of your relationship as being a little sick right now. Be gentle with it.

I don't think you're crazy at all! You miss your girl and it's normal to be feeling like you're "doing all the work" when she has her mind on a million different things (including you) and so has very little time to dedicate to each one while you maybe have less on your mind, making it easier for you to give more attention to her.

Don't over think or over analyse the situation or you'll bottle up and explode on her (something she clearly couldn't take after such a long time of work work an dno play) when she comes home. Just calmly wait for her arrival and then talk to her about it. She is the only one who can calm your fears. Until then, keep being the sweetheart that you are because I'm sure that after a long day she enjoys reading your texts before bed and looking at the flowers when she comes through the door, knowing her man is patient with her and obviously supportive of her career choices. =]

I agree that she's lucky to have you. I think few guys are so conscientious with trying to cheer their gfs up. good job!

pls pull through and just wait that 7 weeks. LDRs always put some strain on relationships, so just hang in there, things should be back to normal after she gets back.
