Boys and touching
Hi,
I was wondering if a guy goes out of his way to touch you if he is flirting or if he is just touchy feely.
A guy in my class, who I have only spoken to briefly, came up to me while I was standing with another guy classmate and he put his hand on my lower back and said hello. Was he just greeting me or does he like me?
-
well it's kinda hard to know but it's a good sign he does or he could be an insatiable flirt
-
He's a flirt. Guys who are shy would never do that to greet a girl even when he really like her.
-
So you think he likes me? Or is he just flirting?
-

-
He's a flirt and maybe likes u and trying to take your attention away from the other guy
-
Well, if there is a girl I like I usually try to get close to her, and give her hugs and stuff. I think it shows that I like her, so in your case, I would say that he likes you.
-
look for more signs because he can either be flirty or friendly
-
How can you differentiate a flirt and someone interested in you? I don't know.
-
He wants you, but as they say, maybe he's after multiple girls at the same time.
-
Some people just are very touchy when communicating.
I would wait and see when it comes to judging if he likes you or not.
Maybe you could see how he communicates around other females.
-
Just observe his behaviour when communicating with other people. If he's very touchy in general when talking to people, then obviously that's just how he is or could be he's just what you call "a flirt". Otherwise, he is interested.
Personally I get a bit suspicious when someone I just met is being very touchy, but that could just be me having too many bad experiences with players so I won't generalize. Some people are just outgoing and not afraid to show when they are interested.
You just have to judge based upon what kind of person he is, if he is shy or not etc. Most guys who were seriously interested in me though, were not that touchy in my presence though in the beginning, they were rather shy to begin with and seemed more like they didnt want to be touchy and come across as a player. But again, that's just me and my experiences so I won't generalize.
Ya.

Sounds like he's competative and tries to be subtle about it.

If this was a multiple choice question, the answer would be (D) Not enough information.
