Subliminal Self Improvment : Has anyone tried?

I have been wondering how to become more motivated, focused, successful and better in my personal relationships. I have read many books: Purpose Driven Life, Eat That Frog, 7 habits and The Power of Focus to name a few. But it seems not to "stick to me". So i searched for another helpful antidote and came across Subliminal Self Improvement literature subliminalselfimprovment.blogspot.com

I actually downloaded an audio mp3 and am skeptical it will work.
Have any of you tried this or know about this self help technique?

Is it that listen while you sleep shit? biggest sceudo-science scam ever. The brain doesnt "learn" efficiently while asleep.

EDIT: If its the listen in the background while working etc I dunno about it ,,may as well give it a go
