Can`t Talk

Well there's this girl who added me on facebook and then msn. We talked a little bit every once and awhile but were never serious or anything. She is a year younger then me and now goes to the same school as me. I think I am starting to like her. I am not a very shy person but every time we talk we basically just say hey, whats up?

She doesn't seem like a shy person at all either and it feels like we both want to have more of a conversation but we just cant think of anything to talk about. We attempted to have a few conversations but it never really gets far. How can we improve on this?

If you need things to talk about, you could probably ask her things like what her hobbies are, what colleges she is trying to get to, what would do with a million dollars. Things like, questions that arn't yes or no, questions that need long worded answers.
