^^ I've never shown my friends any photos my girlfriend wouldn't want me to show. I never would, either. I'm sure I'm not the only guy out there who has respect for his relationship and his woman.
I think they're a nice surprise though. A nice, random surprise, though, not a birthday present or something.

For me? There's no way in hell I'd show my friends. For one, it's a long term relationship, and I don't need them oogling her thereafter, and secondly if she finds out? No sex, ever, again.
I think Gribble is right - most relationships don't last, and after the love is gone, it would be easy enough to show the pictures to someone. Either that, or a guy might stick them in a shoebox in the back of the closet, and his future wife will find them.
