What do you think of the movie "2012" ?
Entertainment wise, it is good.
Other than that, quite disapponting.. 3 hours movie and half of it is to build up the story... :tough:

I don't like movies like this...After bunch of crazy people go and say that it will really happen... Or like with Blair Witch Project or the Texas Chainsaw Massacre... I thought I will go crazy listen to those people saying it happened really...

LOL!!!! :D
i heard on the radio that they are thinking of making a squeal to this, but in reality... the end of the world is the end of the world. there wasn't a part two to the sunken titantic was there??
I was told that if I don't want to be pissed off not to see it from a reliable source and I will take the advice. Stupid movie. What a way to attempt to capitalize on the dumbasses who believe this 2012 crap. Also heard it was annoyingly long. Its funny cause when I heard people talking about 2012 long time ago I made a wise crack joke "It will make a good movie some day" .....go figure dumb ass Hollywood can take a joke and make it a reality.
What's it about?
Speaking of movies, The men who stare at goats looks pretty good.
Is it based on the incan/mayan calendar about the world ending on, umm, 21/12/12 or something?
Haven't really heard much about it, can't say that the set-up sounds compelling either.

That music fits perfectly. Looks like looney tunes with live actors thrown in here and there. I swear, CGI killed movies for me. The only flicks I can stomach are the ones with budgets so low the directors can't afford CGI. And assuming those movies are any good, the money earned by them paves the way for sequels filled with CGI idiocy. There was actually a day once, long ago, when guys like Steven Spielberg made good movies. Now they make cartoons for adults.
From the previews it reminds me of Independence Day, little bit of high intensity action mixed in with a boring, drawn out storyline. I'll wait for it on cable.

Saw it this weekend with the boyfriend. This movie is way better than the Day After Tomorrow. The graphics, sound fx, the animation... were amazing. I was impressed by the picture. They did a great job creating the movie. I don't really care about the history of the Mayan Calendar. I enjoyed the storyline and action. One minute I was tearing up... next minute I was... "OMG! Look!!" LOL! After seeing the movie it just made me hold onto him a little tighter and just really appreciate however much time you have on earth. No one knows when it will end, then world or just your life. Great movie!
i don't believe that the world will end in 2012. it's a hoax i tell you.
