new to forums of any kind

Hello, I am a 47 year old female, recently single after an 8 year relationship. I know that this relationship is over but certain things that occured at the end have left me wondering if I am losing my mind or seeing things from the wrong perspective, or if I am right, as I believe I am. I'm looking for answers to this as I don't want to make the same mistakes in any other relationship I may have in the future, so looking to better understand myself and my actions/reactions. I have never participated in any type of forum before and want to get unbiased opinions from people who are not family and friends, because they can be (due to their ties to me) unintentionally biased one way or the other.

let me tell you this, just be open minded to a lot of things. you'll get a lot of wise assed answers from a lot of people around here, especially people like me. there are a lot of kids that run around the forums, but there are also adults. if you are patient, then you'll probably find what you are looking for.
