Special Birthday Gift

Hi

It's my first time here ... hope that someone can help me out.

The birthday of a girl friend of mine will come up soon, so I need a gift for her and I need to make it special.

There has happened so many things between us, so that we are still in touch but we don't see each other anymore. That's why so far this is my imagination: I buy her a gold necklace and hide it under a tree near to her place. Then I'll send her a text message and tell her to go to this place and dig for it.

So could someone maybe help me out to better my idea? Another gift? Another story? What can I do better to make my gift to her being PERFECT? My idea seems to be just too empty. I feel like every day I'm losing a bit of her ... so this could be the last moment and I want her to remember it all the time.

She means the world to me but I don't want her to know this, cause she has a boyfriend and I believe that she is happy ... so anyway..

Well first thing, don't make her dig for it... That would be like she has to put labor into getting it so its basically like a pay check. But try something like buying 12 roses, and making 12 notes, put a rose next to each note and make it like a scavenger hunt. When she gets to the necklace appear secretly and surprise her. That would mean a lot to her
