Fellas, I'm feeling horny. The guy-round-the-corner didn't "call" last weekend but I've seen him in passing during the week and we are cool. What do you think of woman making "the call"? I know he gets juiced up Friday nights and I'm hungry even for an average lay (how desperate is that?!). Primo, if I could I would, sadly Perth is woefully short on deserving guys. Our dull city doesn't have a social scene for my age range and I ain't into internet dating. Going to visit the UK in 4 wks so we'll see what's on offer in dear old blighty.

Well Mia, ya, when you're single, your sex life is pretty much controlled by your options. You're 40, so most of the guys in your age group look like hell, or are taken. The ones that are hot are usually nailing younger, better looking women, because let's face it, most women over 35 look like hell too or their bodies are wasted from having kids.
I'm not talking about you specifically btw. If you're a hottie, you have some options. If you're average, then ya, it can be slim pickins' for studs at 40.
Please remember that self-respect is also attractive. You initiate a booty call, you go down to the bottom of his list. Know this.

Sure, I get that, but it's about perceived value. If he has her calling him, I'd be willing to be he never calls her again.
