Such a fight would never happen in the wild. If it ever did and it was a full-sized Griz, your Tiger better get his game on, because he''ll need it. I shot one (bear) 900 lbs, and saw some way bigger and they run like striped-assed apes. A tiger is an ambush predator, and isn't equipped for a long drawn out fight.
I saw a (stuffed) polar bear in Alaska once.... it was much larger than I would have imagined.
We had some Grizzlies come near camp, that looked bigger than buses.
Scary!... I went riding on an ATV tourist-thingy in Alaska, and the guide carried a big, old shotgun in case we saw grizzlies. Coming from the city, I was pretty scared of the gun. I kept thinking about that movie "Deliverance", and the redneck guys with no teeth and shotguns...
Th bear without a doubt. For one, they have at minimum a solid 500-1000 lb weight advantage. Secondly, they have thick fur and a lot of fat which would act as an armor casing against claws and teeth. All a tiger would do is piss the bear off, bears, particularly polar bears are incredibly strong animals.
The only thing scarier than a big Grizzly, is a big bull moose in rut. The bear is tougher, but the moose is more unpredictable. We had one turn our outhouse into kindling, a few years back.
Wimpy ass tiger.
Can it be a lion? Or a hippo! That'd be worth watching
How about a bear and a shark?
Its kind of funny. The people who live in Africa and the bush fear Hippos more than anything else. They are more dangerous than lions generally.Quote:

Hippos are no joke, either. If you are near the water, don't walk on the paths, because you might get between a hippo and the water. If you do, you won't do it twice!! Crocs are bad, but usually don't stray as far from the water.
The bear would smack the tiger like once and win.
Even if the tiger bit the bear first, the bear would be like "wtf is this shit" and smack the tiger aroound.
Damn nature, you scary!
Lmao, a sun bear. Those things belong in the sloth family.
Unfortunately I actually know the answer :(
The romans used to often capture wild animals, transport them around the world, and force them to fight each other for sport. There are plenty of records which still exist that state that bears always won the fights. Can't remember any exact cases of tigers Vs bears, but I've read quite a few reports of bears Vs lions, and it was always a very short fight. The big cats are fierce, but they're far too fragile, and they were simply overpowered and crushed by the bears brute strength.
What a wonderful species we are...
