I really don't divide love-making into categories, such as "rough", or " gentle". I am much more into "purely sexual", which can be more strenuous, and demanding, or "sexual love", which can be both passionate and caring.

do you really have to be a sexual person to want to have rough and passionate sex?...my ex and i were together for 5 years,i must say that he, like any other guy, wanted to have sex all the time. However, it was always the same boring thing...we did try a lot of different positions and i tried to be a little rough every now and then to get him in the mood but, never worked. After a while, it just got so boring that i didn't get turn on or wanted to have sex with him unless i was really horny.

There's no real right or wrong answer here. Like others have said, it depends on the moment and the mood. Also even the nicest girls like to be treated like a slut from time to time. :)
