My boyfriend went off at me for not swallowing

On New Years Day my boyfriend and I were having sex and he rolled on his back so I could give him oral. He came pretty quickly and I didn't feel like swallowing that day (sometimes it tastes good, sometimes it doesn't go down as well) so I spat it out in our sink in the other room.

Before I knew it he was up and angrily getting dressed. He left the house, slamming the door behind him and I couldn't understand what was going on. When he came back I asked him what was wrong and he said "like you don't know!!!". At that stage I honestly didn't. He said to me he hasn't gotten head in months (true, I am not the biggest fan) and the one time he does, I spit.

I couldn't quite believe we were having the discussion at all. I didn't do it to be hurtful in any way, I just... didn't feel like it that day! Guys shed some light please!... I still don't understand why this is so insulting. Should I have just done it even though I didn't want to?? I ended up apologising but I felt weird!

I've only had a couple of girlfriends who regularly swallow, I think women who usually do are the minority.

Now, if my girlfriend is generous enough to pleasure me while i lie back, it's up to her what she does when I cum!!! Don't get me wrong, swallowing is a bit of a turn on, but spitting certainly isn't an insult. I don't usually see things in black and white, but in this instance it's pretty clear that the guy is 100% out of order. Sounds like he's pissed off about something else or has got other things going on in his mind. Either way, you didn't do a thing wrong.

What an arsehole! Sorry, but that's seriously selfish and out of line. I'm guessing he proabably doesn't go down on you all that much either...

If a guy did this to me, I'd be so upset and probably avoid going down on him ever again. I love giving head too, really love it and love swallowing, but it is important to know you have the option of not swallowing if you don't feel like it. Geeeeez what a dick.

Mm. I'm not sure that I agree with the majority of posters. While the guy certainly did overreact - I mean, it really isn't that big of a deal - I honestly think that the fact that you spit it out is an insult to his pride. I mean, certainly he should get over it, and the whole pride thing is a guy issue anyway, but I think that in the future, if he wants to come on you and you don't want to swallow it, just have him come somewhere else.

I mean, I completely believe he overreacted, but I also understand how I might feel. Anyway, yes, it is out of line, but just remember that guys often think differently.
