How would you like to be approached in this situation?

Hey, everyone. Im going to make this short.

Well we are both in high school still. Im a senior, i think she's a junior?

So we both only have 1 class together and thats at the end of the day, I dont really notice her during the rest of the day because of our school is huge and we have about 4000+ students.

Im interested in her. Got to know her a little during the time we sat next to each other in class, but i never did anything because i was in a relationship with someone else and that ended.

Idk if she is interested in me but she i did hear her say "Hey, its B i wonder how his project is going to do" she said that to her friends and they all started to watch me.

Im interested in her and would like to get to know her. How would you liked to be approached in this situation or how should i approach her?

Also im a friend with one of her friends maybe he can put a word in for me?
