which of the next 2 scenario do you think would be more painful?

1. When you get dumped by a person you love and thought loved you and been with for a long while, and the person says right away that she already got someone else? Or;
2. When you get dumped by a person you love and thought loved you and been with for a long time but are not told that she has somebody, and then say after 3 months you would discover that she actually has someone?



-Just to clear things out, i was just contemplating since i got dumped by my girlfriend, and she told me right away that she has someone else already, i assume that because of the fact that the other person was in picture, my pain just increased and became more intesne as oppose to if she wouldn't have said that she has someone. But after some thinking i was wondering maybe it is actually better to know everything since you deal with it all right from the beginning, instead of discovering it in a couple of months and perhaps getting into a relapse or something to would treat my healing progress much back.
would do you guys think? which one would be the more painful one and why?

Second is more painful...Like a cancer compared to a clean sharp pain. Knowing you've been betrayed and lied to is infinitely worse than a sharp disappointment. At least that way you know the person has respect for you.

I agree, the second one is certainly more painful.

i know..buthe choice here is between very bad or worst... and there is a significant different between these two i believe...at least thats what im trying to figure out.

Finding out someone has been stringing you along shouldn't be a source of hurt. Look upon it as a reaffirmation that you're true to yourself and others.. they're not and not worthy.
