Scared to send pics?

I've been in a long distance relationship for 9 months. We're recently broken up, and I showed my boyfriend fake pictures, and only JUST showed him my actual self a few days ago. I was terrified to tell him, but he actually took it MUCH better than I thought he would. He was a little upset at what I did, but said he still loved me, and if I 'work with him a little bit' by showing him more pics of my real self & maybe getting a webcam, then we could get back together.

We both have strong feelings for eachother, & I (stupidly) ended the relationship because I knew I could never meet him since I sent fake pics. But now, he knows what I really look like, and accepted me, so a relationship is possible again.

This is my only problem. I've only showed him shoulders up pics of me. I'm not fat..but curvy. He's a tall, lanky guy, VERY skinny, he only weighs 120 lbs! But, I weigh more than that, & I'm scared to show him pics of my whole body. He's been asking for 'bikini'/full body pics & for me to get a webcam, but I honestly don't have any bikini pics, because I hate my body. I think it's too curvy, and it's my #1 insecurity.

Anyway, I do love him, & I realize if he can get over me faking pics, & he does like my face..then can my body really be a cause for him to stop loving me? I'm just scared he'll be unattracted to me, and won't want to tell me because he's too nice.

Basically what I'm asking is: 1. How should I go about showing him pics of my full body? Just send him a bunch then say I have to leave quickly? (I don't want to be there when he sees them, hahah) 2. Should I get a webcam if he accepts the pics the way they are? It's not really like I'd be showing my body on there anyway, he'd really only see my face. Thank you.

what are you worried about? he's probably insecure about himself also! he's only 120 lbs for goodness sake! he likely craves a curvy girl like you. dont be shy... just show him.

side note: i dont believe in online "boyfriends" because how the heck is that even possible?!

Unless you're using curvy as a euphemism for fat, you can't be too curvy. Curves are good.

I would say that many girls of a normal weight would be heavier than the equivalent of 54kg, so even though you're heavier it really doesn't mean that much, he's just really skinny for a guy.

I can relate to your insecurities in that I used to be a fat kid/teenager, and even though I lost a lot of weight into adulthood I still maintained a negative self image until I met my man. He told me how beautiful I was and made me see who I really was in the mirror, and eventually I started loving what I looked like again. He loved me and made me feel good about myself, even if I thought I was ugly.

Your boyfriend probably loves curvaceous women, and it would probably blow his mind to see your beautiful body! If he isn't attracted to you, other guys will be (such variety in porn must indicate something!). If you mindf*ck him by photoshopping your head on some fake body, that would be a very unattractive move not based on you physically but mentally.

In a relationship you have to be honest, with your partner and yourself, and sometimes that means you will need to let yourself be vulnerable... but you have everything to gain.

just send it... i mean you already came to the realisation that it wasnt gonna work since you sent fake pics, but he forgave you...

you have more to gain by sending it. But incase it ends bad, well you would be back to what you already previously accepted.

i'd like to know how you really consider what you had with him a relationship? he didn't even know what you looked like.

and not to sound to judgmental, but if this guy considered what you two had as a serious "relationship", then i'm assuming he's probably pretty insecure about himself too.

just be honest and maybe this weird, very strange relationship you had with him can actually become something real. who the heck knows!?

I guess it goes to show the guy aint shallow though and that he actually likes the person inside ....but still, very, very, very deceptive!

Just show him.

If he doesn't like it, hell move on, you haven't met in yet have you? Pretty easy to get him out of your life if so. If he likes, your relationship will go up to the next step I guess. Have some balls and just go for it, any time you waste now stalling is just lost time.

Think of it this way. You want a future with someone? But your self concious to show him yourself? It's a step you have to get by.

I'm skinny (140lb) myself with things about me I'm MAJORLY self concious about because of past experiences with girls. Be who you are, if someone doesn't like it, screw them.
