am i in with a chance?

hi,i just need some advice as i have never been good at understanding signals and what i am meant to do when i get them.i have been to a local bingo hall once every so often and have recently stopped going.tonight my dad who goes alot came back from the bingo and told me that the manageress had said to him 'your lad hasnt been in for a while' and asked him 'does he have a girlfriend'-am i in with a chance?

I think so, too. But wait a minute, ask yourself first, "do you like this girl as well?" Don't jump into taking her out just cause she's interested. You might send her false hopes if eventually you don't return the same feelings.

I wouldn't be jumping the gun here and assume there may be more in this.

All she did was make a mention to your dad that she hadn't seen you in some time and asked if you had a gf. To me, that is making conversation and being friendly.

How do you know it's not your dad she doesn't have her eye on and she is trying to get to know him and through general conversation?
