Bonfire
Three poems, but they both fit under the same category, and i wrote them beside eachother at the same time, with the same mindset. Thus, one thread. Please, scroll down, and read.
Shuffle, rustle, move
Scratch, make nosie, have presence
Cry, yell, scream, laugh
Let me hear your emotions play,
I want to know what makes you tick
My mind is like a bonfire,
It emits the most beautiful sparks and flames,
It dreads me with the burns and scolds,
It flows through me, and supports me.
Without one of these aspects, it would be less a fire,
and more a mythical fantasy, extinguished only by the stars of the night.
Love is a bonfire.
You have to start from the bottom, small kindling,
just start it, don't worry about where it goes, or how it works
just get a flame going.
And if one does, one will support it.
One will care for it, and nurture it with fuel, as well as admire it,
feel proud of it.
It is a task, an accomplishment, a necessity, an amazement.
Does anyone have a match?
