Just Broke Up (I was dumped) but question about this note she left me

So I just broke up with my ex of 3 1/2 years, I won't bother posting any details except this.

We lived together and she told me it would be easier if I wasn't here when she left, so I left for the day, when I got home I had this note on my bed.

"I will always love you!. Thanks for supporting me in my decision to do what is best for me. That is it he greatest give you can give me. I appreciate everything you have done for me. I will let you know when we get the next step. Love NA."

I guess people feel inclined to leave something but that last sentence is really bothering me. I understand break-up, relationships end, but what am I suppose to read from last sentence. If someone makes a decision to end a relationship, why would they write that. The conversation when she ended it was I need to do this, and my response was pretty much well you made your mind up so I do not have anything to say except good-bye.

Ignore it. The only thing that can come from that is you staying hopeful that the relationship can pick up in the future. Which, if it can, then great for you if that's what you still want. But when will that be? A year from now? 5? Do you wanna spend that long pining over someone? It's great that you were able to let her go and do what she needs to. But unless you're gonna be there with her by her side, you can't keep holding onto that. Just let her go for now. If she comes back... great. If not... you haven't spent however long wishing she would.
