Strange feeling about him
Hello everybody! I have a little issue I'd like to discuss. I have been with my boyfriend now for 5 months and frankly he is a lovely bloke, sexy, funny, interesting, caring, I mean I didn't think there were any left like him. He is 11 years older than me, I'm 34 and he is 45. Him and his wife got divorced 7 years ago, they'd been married for 18 years and have a teenage son.
Now here is what bothers me, last Saturday, we were on the way to a dinner party when we discussed the way some people think it's perfectly ok to dump somebody via text message.
He said, happened to me once and that's when my brain started trying to assimilate the info. I mean, we discussed past relationships and the way they ended but as far as he'd told me up to then, he had 2 serious relationships that lasted nearly 3 years each, then he had a short affair with a woman for 2 weeks and that was it. The first one, he dumped her, the second one, they had an argument and she ended up leaving him and the affair ended upon common consent.
Now, I wondered when that text message story happened and he said with his last relationship, the one he has before me, they'd been together for 4 months and he couldn't drive to her house a couple of times cos the roads were snowed in and she thought he wasn't interested anymore and dumped him. That would be fair enough, but in February to April this year, I had to go to an eye specialist twice a week cos I had caught a serious infection in my right eye and as it happens to be, my eye specialist is in the same town as that woman lives in. The only weeks were the road were shut because of the snow, were the 2 last weeks of March and that would mean the he started going out with me and was either still with her or had just broken up, but then apparently they thought about moving in together but then don't you find it strange for somebody who just got dumped to jump on teh next woman.
I might sound paranoic but somehow I think, hmm? What do you think?
