what's a good place to stay at? as far as indoor pools and entertainment and luxury as well goes?
i want to go for Thanksgiving weekend, so I'd rather have something prebooked :)
I think most of the pools are closed seasonally, and I haven't ever seen an indoor pool on the strip. I think the Bellagio is supposed to have beautiful outdoor pools, and may be heated in the winter.
Bellagio and Venetian are top notch ... but Caesar's Palace isn't too shabby neither. All Venetian rooms are suites, so they have living rooms and a couple of TVs. I got upgraded at Caesar's Palace once and had a hot tub in the bathroom. Bellagio was simple ...
Personally, you're going to spend a lot of time outside of the hotel, so it shouldn't matter where you stay ... it's just easier to stay on the strip.
I was thinking about Mandalay Bay, but I know nothing about. Has anyone stayed there?
yep. the elevators are awful. Nice pools, as I remember, but outdoors.
Never stayed in the Mandalay Bay.
The 2 times I've been there I stayed at the Imperial Palace (first time). It was an OK hotel, but because we didn't stay in the hotel room much (being it was our first trip to Vegas) it was OK for that time.
The next time when my cousin & I went we stayed at at the Mirage. Nice hotel, clean rooms, enjoyed staying there.
My dream hotel to stay in & will stay in the next time I go is the Venetian...LOVE that hotel!!
Your best bet Sonrisa is to do a check on the hotels in Vegas online. Do searches for certain hotels, get their web sites & there you can read up on the types of rooms, pools etc. they have.
The cheapest room at The Venetian is ridiculously nice ... almost better than the deluxe room I had at Caesar's if only it had a hot tub.
For some reason, I think that a phone in the bathroom is baller as f*ck!
Venetian sounds good so far. I guess I had to research the indoor pools myself.
