talk about a long weekend

alright, so my friend's bday was on halloween, but because of school on monday, we went to party on a saturday night. then there was a flood so school got canceled for mon and wed. and there was a holiday on tues due to the elections. damn that was a 5 day weekend and school for tomorrow is still unsure.

shiet, i just checked the website and we do have class tomorrow. that's alright, i have a test that i have been studying for, and tonight i'm off so it's a good thing the test will go as planned. however, i haven't had a 5 day weekend in a long time, and there is veterans day comming up and thanksgiving. wow, there are a lot of days off during the month of november. lol.

I saw you guys got a lot of rain, I wondered if it effected your area. Guess so. I dont get any damn days off this month, what makes you so lucky!!! Enjoy it Raver! And goodluck on your test!

thats kinda cool you had some days off...can i come to hawaii ? i have some days off this month plus i took the weekend of the 19 off for my keg party wanna come?

This buddy I hang out with now (since I moved to a new apt) has a friend who's birthday is also on Halloween, so since I don't drink I drove for them, but it was cool because his friend and friends are all girls and not bad looking...I'll post a picture if I don't forget. They all dressed up as super-heroines (sp??) and they looked pretty nice. One in particular I was smitten by, but apparently I'm not their type..it seems that although my costume was "death" I seemed to be more like the "invisible man". This bunch wasn't very open to outsiders..I had a hard time getting a few words in here and there, asking a few questions, but if I wouldn't have talked, they would not have cared to conversate with me.

That was the biggest thing about last weekend, but on to the bigger topic of days, off, ha ha.. you're all going to be green with envy..well, I think I'm pretty lucky, actually, to have such a lenient boss, but I asked if I could rearrange my schedule to work four tens (four days a week, ten hours a day) and he was cool about it. So now I work Mon-Thurs and have Friday, Sat, and Sunday off!

To celebrate I'm headed to my natal Los Angeles tomorrow to come back Sunday..then next Friday I'll head over to Phoenix.

I'm taking 2 trips because Southwest Airlines said that if I did, they'd give me a free round trip and since I like to travel I took advantage of the relatively cheap trips to later take a free round trip somewhere farther.

So those are my days off and weekend.

dammit.. .all that ****ing studying and my test got pushed back due to the canceled classes. i was ready for it, now i have to refresh my memory and stay up late monday night. dammit.

dammit, here i am again, 11 at night, taking a break from studying for my test. i will admit that i probably know a teeny tiny bit more, however at the end of the night, i will be a genius. yeah right.

YL came to visit for Halloween- We had a blast! She was a dead and decaying zombie-ish person- I was a fallen angel complete w/bruises- her fiancee was Po White Trash (Hillbilly teeth and a Hefty bag covered w/KMart receipts, cig packs, etc..) and my BF was a missing drunk (milk carton headpiece w/face cutout and the words Last Seen at Bob's Tavern)

Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday. I had such a blast. Good thing too since 3 days later I ended up on bedrest for a wk w/bronchitis. I would have been triple pissed if I had a boring wkend followed by a wk of cable t.v. and crossword books.

My point is - YES it was a very long wkend- mine lasted 10/31- 11/8

i wrk 7 days a week usually i leave during the week at 1:15 bu this week i will be her mon 9-6 tue 9-6 wed i will be here at 9:15 tillmy coworker comes in then i have lab then sunday again back to 1:15 then lab then friday i will be here till 6 on sat - sun i wrk from 9-5 always and then monday the 15th ill be here from 9-6 (sunday the 14th is my b-day) but then i have off the 19th 20th & 21st yipppppppppie!!!!!!!! CAN ANYONE SAY KEG PARTY!?
