it's msn . . . people might think, they might be having multiple convos, they might be watching tv or being distracted themselves
don't read into non-'real life' interaction so much . . it will only make you insecure.
Yeah, this. But in general, a good way to fill awkward silences is to ask them friendly questions about themselves. People love talking about themselves and it shows that you have an interest in knowing who they are.Quote:

open ended stuff is always good . . . and always try to relate stuff, don't abruptly change the topic - just go along with the natural stream of consciousness/conversationQuote:
