that's awful. i think the military needs to worry less about gay people in the military and concern themselves more with small children needing to be with their mothers.
It's just repulsive. I can understand sending a mom to war, I've been there when I was in. If you take advantage of the benefits you need to be willing to work for them. However, people need to be more proactive about how these kids are! Why didn't people in her squadron check up on this child? How did it get this far without anyone knowing?Quote:

i don't agree. our values are pretty fuked when we are sending mothers of young children to fight a war we are never going to win.Quote:

But by not sending the moms we are saying that a mothers life is more valuable than a fathers life. Also, why should women receive the same benefits if they get different treatment? The military gives pregnant women the option to get out of the military, if they choose not to get out, they better be willing to do their job.Quote:

Probably one of their own kids who did it, but of course with the media allegations = guilt.
“numerous injuries, including broken ribs,” and that the injuries “appear to have happened over a period of time.” Among the injuries listed in the police report are a broken left shoulder, a lacerated liver, a punctured lung with blood in the abdomen and a large bite mark on the left thigh.
This was over a period of time, they would have known something was going on.
To a newborn child, yes the mothers life is more important. Also when a pregnant woman is given the choice to stay or leave the woman may make the wrong decision not realizing how important it is for her to be with her baby. If its her first baby particularly.Quote:

Every single injury they list is internal, excepting only the bite mark which sure as hell sounds like something a 4 or 7 year old would be more likely to do.Quote:

Being neglectful is one thing, a sick **** who abuses an infant and gets off from nibbling at its thighs is another. Find him/her/them guilty (or better yet, confessing) and I'll happily wish them to rot.
