To all newcomers

Hello all of you. I'll be honest and say that I only posted in this section once (the first day I got here). If you want any advice or responses by people who have been here for a while I'd suggest posting in one of the other sections that pertains to the topic you want to talk about. Posting in this section is pretty much a waste of time unless you are trying to get the attention of other new members. Typically posts in this section are ignored altogether though.

I think I should also add that it is wise to preview before posting so that readers can understand exactly what you are trying to say. If it doesn't make sense when you read it, it won't make sense when we read it. Don't be afraid to add to someone's reputation using the small badge symbol at the lower left corner of their post if you felt what they said was useful, and don't be afraid to thank someone using the 'thanks' tab at the bottom left if you agree or find their comment helpful.
