Massively confused - need advice!

This might sound like a stupid situation, but please read this and lend me a hand!

Im a guy, just starting my fourth year of university. I got out of my last relationship with a girl about a year ago and haven't been in anything serious since. There were always one or two guys who I thought were hot etc, but I didn't think aching of it beyond maybe a 'man crush'. Until now, that is.

There's this first year guy (gay) i met a few times before he came to London this month, to uni. The last time I saw him was a couple of weeks before uni and he told me he was coming to London, to my uni. Since then, I can't stop thinking about Him. It's worse than with anyone else, ever. At first i thought that it was a crush or something, but it's been over a month now. I genuinely can't stop thinking about him and seeing him. It's like when there's a girl that I like - my heart started beating the other day when he rang and I felt sick! I feel like a kid again lol.

We facebook messaged a bit before he came, mainly about the uni etc. He said that we should meet up sometime for drink. I texted a few times and heard nothing, until he phoned me at 9pm asking me where's cheap to eat in covent garden for him and his friends. And by the way, we still need to get our drink. Again, i text him and hear nothing for a few days, until Saturday night at about 9 when he calls, apologise for being rubbish, and invites me to fabrics (club in London) LGBT night - with other London lgbt people. He doesn't say it's lgbt night, but I got Facebook messages about it so i know!

I've established that he's rubbish at replying to texts! I don't know what to do... I hate labels, but I think I'm bi or bi-curious! People have asked me in the past whether I'm gay, so I guess I give off some signals... But I cant be sure what to do next. I guess he thinks I'm gay because he invited me to lgbt night?! Does that mean he's interested in me, or just wants to go on a ight out - bearing in mind that he massively helped on a project I ran over the summer , how we met.

How do I go about this? I couldn't meet up with him last night because my phone died and my friends weren't up for it anyway - would have seemed a bit keen if I turned up on my own! We're both going to be at a uni music society meeting on Monday and Tuesday evening, so I can talk to him then. Or should I phone him before? Ive never tried to go out with a guy before, I'm not even 100% sure what I'm feeling! Do you think he's into me?! How should I move forward with this? Given that we're going to be with groups of people on Monday and Tuesday evenings, how do I go about going out for a drink alone with him? I want to cover my bases in case he isn't into me, so I want to go out for q friendly drink first i think, to see what's going on!

I think you've got it down already. Go out with him for a light meal or a couple drinks and see how you feel. If you're still a bit interested, talk to him about it - he's likely been through some of the same feelings. If, on the other hand, you're not interested after a night out, then just shrug you shoulders and say "well, gave it a try and had a nice talk with him."
