Did I fall in love with a call girl?

A woman I've been friends with for a few years and I started dating. Our relationship was hot for a couple months. Then she seemed to not want to go out any more. She said: "don't call me, I'll call you". She said it had nothing to do with me. That I did nothing wrong and not to take it personally. She told me she WOULD call and we WILL go out occassionally, but she's going to call the shots. She did call today and we chatted for a while. But it really feels wierd.
She's a beautifull woman and very fun to be with. So my question to you women is:

Why would she do that and what can I do, if anything to bring her closer.

One more thing you need to know: She told me she used to be a call girl and talked alot about that. Amazing stories.

She's just not looking for a serious relationship yet. She might be busy getting a new life together. If your relationship was for only a couple of months then she just wanted a fling. Sorry but you can't force someone to fall in love with you.

Well the only reason I brought up the call girl point is, maybe she isn't used to an emotional conection, and I was wondering how I can make that happen.

If she said she wanted to back off & she would call you when she's ready. Then you have to respect that & either move on with your life or wait around for whenever she does call you IF she does call you.

You can't force someone to love/ like you. Plus that, wouldn't it feel better if she'd like you back unconditionally, without you trying to make anything "special"?
If she wants distance, it is obvious that... oh well, she wants distance. If she would have wanted to be more close to you, she wouldn't have said that she needs some space.

I found out what's wrong...she's bi polar. But I like her anyway.
