Ever have the moments of pure adoration towards your partner?

Yes, absolutely.

I also have the WTF am I doing here with this person moments. But the former always takes the cake.

I've had that feeling, and yes it is pretty spontaneous, usually irrational. It's the same feeling that makes me go out and buy roses or write prose/poetry about a girl.

It is one of the feelings that keep relationships going, that helps you know that you are with the right person. It is a very good thing.
