Heartbroken over onlinelove

I need advice. I find myself in a weird and unbearing situation. I met a person online 3 years ago, and we grew close. Very close. I didnt take it further though, since I was in a relationship. In june I decided to break off all contact, but I couldnt forget about him. Since then I broke it off with my boyfriend, and I decided to contact my friend again. He told me had still feelings for me, but he had more or less moved on. But he wanted to meet, so I booked a trip for us to meet next month. Shortly after I booked the trip he told me there was someone else, but he wants to still meet me. Im heartbroken and I know I probably shouldnt go. What should I do? :upset:

don't go! you're just setting yourself up for disappointment. move along and meet someone you can have a relationship with that lives closer
