Internet Relationships
Hi everybody,
I'm new to this forum and I would like to discuss Internet Relationships! I am presently working on a book with Authorhouse Publishing Co. on this topic. I am hoping to get feedback from those of you who have experienced meeting someone on-line and the relationship was good or bad. If your interested in sharing your experience with me, I look forward hearing from you!
Thanks!

My internet relationship was well good. I started talking to my ex in April 2003, I got his email address [msn] from a friend in school and we just started talking. Never met him in my life, or even know what he looks like or who he is. We seem to got on very well, so msn turned into texts messages and phone calls. Which I spent a lot of money on. Stupid me. Anyway yeah, I still haven't met him yet, so moving on, he asked me out through the internet on July 25th, and we started 'going out'. LoL! For about 4 -5 months later, November sometime was when I first met my ex. It was weird, because we seemed to be a bit more awkward with eachother and didn't talk as much because, he's there and I'm here. Weird. Hmmm. Well, it wasn't that bad though, it was still good, we still got on and everything and after a few more meets, it started to finally turn into a normal bf / gf relationship. We lasted for 15 months and 3 days, I think we would have still be togeter if I didn't have such a complicated life of being in a well strict boarding school and I actually just lived in England, then we would still be together for quite a long time...

Eh?! Cyber sex? It sucks! What is the point... I prefer the real thing baby!
-
i think that cyber is a waste of time. why would i wanna read what you're writing when i can go watch a porn. it's about visual stimulation.

exactly, cybersex is lame, phonesex is lame.
-
cyber or porn...to each his own but I think they both play a role in someones relationship where ever they find it!
-
when you've got nothing else to turn to, people do get desperate.. and that's the brief story to the introduction to prostitution.

Seriously, cybersex, phonesex or anything which is like that, it's just a waste of time and well gay...

I agree with KaWaiiSkYe. Do it cybersex on purpose sounds strange for me at least the "act" its own. But internet relation is not so bad when you have no other way (your BF is far away) and how those mails, chats sometimes ends, everybody knows. But to act like "simulating that i am close to you" sounds strange for me.
I had one internet only relationship (was somehow promising that he will move close to me due to his work) but it breaked when we third time meet in real life.

nothing on the internet is real, that's why it's all bullshit. i can read and imagine that i'm talking to a perfect model, or i could go watch a porn and get the same aspect, but i have a visual stimulation infront of me. now, what would you pick??

Visual stimulation. Definitely.

Thats why i like post photos, that see i am real, normal girl you can see on the street with specific hobbies, problems and so on. Visual is important and internet must not be anonymous. My closer internet friends know everything about me, including phone, and real address, surname and we was couple of times on webcam chat.
