Am I on his mind

Recently I know this guy on a LD thing. We never met each other. Our calls are always very short. These days I wanted to ask him some medical advice, so I called him. I can't wait for him to reply my email. The moment I was connected with him on the phone, he was giving me new years greetings, and asked about my safety because there was typhoon up on the north of my state. He was checking my safety before I got the chance to ask him about my medical condition.

But why he did not call me? He is always so busy with his patients, so our calls are always a few minutes these few months. But I wonder why he did not call me just to check my safety. If he could simply check my safety once I called him, does that mean I am on his mind?

I cannot understand when someone is on your mind and you can still not call. Why?

It means that he doesn't care enough about you and to call and ask how you are and if you are safe. At least that is how I'd interpret it.

Any man who will only spare you a few minutes a month of his time, isn't worth your 'mind space' either.

Sounds like you're hardly communicating = not a relationship. Can't you find somebody real to go out with?

But would a guy just want to check the safety of his friend when he noticed news of typoon up here? Or his intention is not just pure friends?

Just because he asked if you were safe, doesn't mean he has intentions of anything...

He's a doctor, it's his job to be polite.

If you were on his mind, he'd be calling you!
