Getting the spark back...

I'm 30, I've been with my bloke for 5 years and we're happily living together, sort of...

...I don't know if I'm a freak, other couples around me seem to have sex far more often than I do (which is sometimes less than twice a week) - in comparison to them I seem to have a fairly low sex drive. I do instigate sex but he sometimes turns me down and when we talk about our lack of sex, he quickly forgets the number of times he's not been up for it.

In my world, I like to have a nice space, free from clutter and he just doesn't get that having sex in a room that's a complete tip turns me off. I don't know if I'm just too uptight...when I make the effort, I really make the effort...I wear nice underwear, I light a few candles and get the mood right with music, but he doesn't seem to be bothered if I do all that or not - he could just as easily have sex if the room was full of last weeks dirty socks lying around and I guess I'm just not built that way...I'm not a prude by any stretch and we don't keep love making to the bedroom...Someone please tell me I'm not a freak! I think I'd want to be with him more if he made an effort in the same way I do.

Sorry GF but you at a point of your relationship where it lacks compatability. Everything starts off great in a relationship and we tend to over look the qualities the other lacks because we are in love. When things slow down and the honeymoon stage is over you see what you are left with. If you are compatible and have a lot in common it will sustane a relationship for the long haul. Unfortunatly your relationship has run out of steam. If he has lost interest in sex with you, he has lost interest in your relationship and is in limbo.

You have one last thing you can do...and that's to change up what you two do in your downtime. Taking up a new interest, going to new places to eat ot hang out, finding new friends, changing the way you look, are your last options. If still doesn't work, I'm sorry to say your relationship has come to it's end.

grabbing his junk should work, it would work on me. even if i'm not in the mood, i get there pretty quick!
