Crying over a girl I love

Has anyone ever cried because you loved someone so much?

Its difficult for me to grasp exactly why it happens and why it started to happen. I can only assume its because i am in love with her. Im a 23 year old man and have known this girl for several years. I never really thought of her as a potential partner or really felt attracted to her when i first met her. Don't get me wrong shes a pretty girl but at the time i wasnt really looking for a partner. Years passed and i began to get to know her really well. We always used to tease each other and have a really good laugh around each other. She has a boyfriend of 4 years who she lives with.
I cant remember the exact moment this happened, but rather than enjoying this girls company i would feel really sad around her and i found myself being unable to act like myself around her. This has gone on for a while. Sometimes the sad feelings build so much that they vent themselves as tears and i have been crying alot. I've had feelings for girls in the passed that have lasted anywhere between a few weeks and several years. But i have nver cried or felt sad around any of those. I have told her that i cant speak to her for a while because i have strong feelings for her. I never asked her if she felt anything for me but i got the impression that she didn't. Im unsure of what to do. Your comments will be much appreciated.

Well, you already told her that you have feelings for her so the cat is out of the bag. You need to ask her if she has feelings for you. If not, try and move on.

I know exactly what you mean. There's this show called Extreme Home Makeover that makes me cry every time I watch it. I mean, you get to watch this underprivileged family get the house of their dreams! And then Ty Pennington gets emotional, and seeing him get emotional makes me emotional, and by the end, you look around and we're all crying.

I can say one thing abt them that u must put it in ur brain forever. Girls might look very innocent & we think that they have lots of kindness,but actually they don't. Although, it depends on the aspect but in terms of relationship matter they are hard. Hard maybe because they think twice before they take steps. Men don't do so. They just need what they fantasize. A girl u know & hang out for yrs & yrs does not mean she loves u. She may like u but "love" is different totally. U couldn't go that far unfortunately.

Some women show kind of signal of love to men because that time the woman feels lonely or she might be rebound from other relationship. Some women shows signal just to know how much they get attention from her liked person. But she does know it is never possible for her..or she is just playing. Sometimes women don't even understand their minds as a result how a man understand a woman.....That's why women are tough to understand.

We've all been there and to this point, it's best to do it at a young age that way when you get older and it happens again, you already cried before so your emotions won't naturally do that again.
