There is no doubt that positive thinking spurs us into action towards our goal. However, some people may fall into the trap of believing that positive thinking is all that it takes, because, hey, the Law of Attraction says that we constantly think will happen. So, some people may just dive in into situations without undertaking the necessary due diligence and preparedness. This opens them up to a lo to frustrations. Believing is essential, but so is preparedness.
I never think positive.
I always assume the worst. That way I prepare for the worst and can take the blow if the shit hits the fan.
Also I keep my expectations low. After all: The secret to happiness is: low expectations
I rarely get disappointed.
That's why my motto is: Expect the best; prepare for the worst.
You can believe good things are going to happen but still anticipate possible pitfalls and make a backup plan. One you have that backup plan in your back pocket, go on with plan A knowing you can achieve it, and if you fall, you are ready to catch yourself.
I try to think positive but in the back of my head I'm thinking of the worst. I usually over-analyze.
Uh, uh, thinking of the worst is not positive thinking.
Over-analyzing paralyzes.
I always think the best in any new undertaking. Perception leads to success, IMO.
