She knows she's right

A quick little piece i threw together whilst listening to "You know you're right", and watching a friend of mine bar herself off. A friend I hold very dear.

She Knows She's Right
She will never walk it through
she will never promise to
she will never love again
guess she'll never have a fan
This will mean me to me
it's a neverending dream.

If she's her, I'll never know
everything she'll ever know.
Talking to herself alone
there's no one else who needs to know.
She could never die again,
she won't lose another friend.

He's finally here, and she's a mess
Guess she'll lie alone just like before
She'd rather starve than eat his bread
She'll end up alone like she began.

She has decided she doesn't want to love anymore, because of all the love-related pain she went through in the past, but she has a void in her life that is only filled by this one particular man. She's afraid of her love for him.
