What to do ? Appreciate the help !

Hi, im in a big fight with my best friend for 5 years (she's a girl) who I dated in january broke it off early february and then we went back had sex in march but then she told me something and I broke her trust wether she has blame or not but thats not really the issue.


I came face to face with her again last week and she looked at me smiled looked away and marched off.
I texted hours later that the whole ignoring thing isnt going to work for me (because we go to the same places and we should try to work it out)
She called me next day to talk to me about it but she said she doesn't want contact with me anymore although after she said that we had pretty nice conversation laughter included.


I feel bad because I did something that broke her trust, it was a good thing to do but I did it for the wrong reasons. I regret making that decision and not being able to talk to her.

So I decided to make it up

I sent her 3 red roses with a card: I'm really sorry, and I hope you come by to pop open a wine at my place again sometime.
(when she was @ my place she always drinks wine but i never had a wine opener so everytime she came i had to pry a bottle open with a fork or knife, so in january i bought her a wine opener as a gift, hence I had that written on the card).

anyway I had the 3 roses delivered at her house today but the problem now is that I know she got them, but I havent heard anything from her? I atleast expected a call.. so now all these images of her throwing away the flowers are racing through my head :(

what do you think i should do? should i go over to her place? do she need time? do i need to back off completely? what can i do?

Well how serious was it that you did to break her trust?

Going by what you have said, she seems to have interest in you as she wouldnt play silly games like smiling and walking away from you. Saying she doesnt want contact with you then conversing, says she is mad, but not mad enough to cut contact with you..

Maybe because she hasnt called she is either playing you, or just doesnt want you to know she likes you. I dont think theres much information here that someone could help you too great.

I think the question is, do you want to be with her? Is that why you sent the gifts? If you do, straight up just tell her and let her decide what she wants to do. If you dont like her, then dont bother with any of this.

Well pretty serious, but not like I cannot be trusted as a boyfriend but as a friend.

See it's like this, she told me stuff about sexual abuse and stuff like that happened to her, so she then called one day that I had to call her the next week on thursdays every 30 mins , i got worried and asked whats up she then told me that a guy was chasing her from her past wanting something from her and telling her he has well sexual related material of her in his possession, I think you can do the math that he was going to blackmail her into sex.

she told me not to go her parents with this or the police, but I ignored it and followed my instinct to go to the police but i didnt think it through what it would mean for her (the consequences) when i was at the station i told the story the officers checked the computer and told me there was no record of her being involved with those kind of guys (while she told me and I still have that email that police where at her place because of investigation)


I think in this situation it's important for her that I believe her. even after i confronted her with it she got mad and held on that it did happen.. this is probably the issue, but who should i follow? my mind or my heart.
we've always had the connection no doubt but I started the dating thing by growing a pair of balls and go to her place.

I do like her, infact I love her alot and I do want to be with her , im a kind of guy who expresses what he feels by doing romantic stuff I dont know how to express it otherwise.

So what do you reckon i should do? text her if i could come over for a few minutes? text her that I believe her?
