should i get excited!? or is it nothing...

okay so as you all probably know, i was dumped a month ago and im giving her space by trying the no contact thing. anyways, i was starting to begin to think she forgot about me and that she didnt care for me but yesterday, out of nowhere she posted on my facebook wall. i had sent her a picture of my dog with a "happy birthday" sign and a cowboy hat and she loved it. she posted on my facebook wall that it was cute and she really liked it and in the end she thanked me. well she went to work and then msgd me when she got off and we talked for the rest of the night. should i be getting excited about her contacting me? or is it really no big deal...

I wouldn't get too excited, but it's a positive sign.

I say that, because it wasn't "out of nowhere". She contacted you because you posted on her wall. On the other hand, you DID spend a lot of time talking later, so you have some hope. Take it slow and easy.

Here is more important question: Why don't you have enough other options going on in your life that you still want to be with someone who dumped you?
