Whats the best thing to do? Should I seek revenge?

I am/used to be a very very shy person. There was this girl in my college in Canada that always gave me silent but rather obvious hints that she liked me. In response I loved her INSANELY in secret especially that many people randomly commented on how beautiful she is.

Her hints became more and more obvious but I still couldn't talk to her until in late 2010 she actually made the first move and asked to sit with me in the cafeteria. I was so happy I couldn't believe it was happening.

Ok, for whatever reason, the next time I saw her and said hi she responded in the ugliest way possible, and she'd avoid me and always sit with that other guy (who knew what was going on and teased me). I thought she figured out he's better than me and dumped me for him. Needless to say, my heart was beyond crushed, and few weeks later after I was sure I got "dumped" I sent her a message on facebook that I wish her the best with him.

She acted like she's surprised that I wrote her a message and told me they're just friends, and that she's engaged to another guy! I thought she was just saying this to avoid me but I learned from my friends its true, she was actually engaged to another guy since years!

This happened 7 months ago, and I'll never see her again. But I can't get over the deep insulted and humiliation (esp, after so many stupid statuses on facebook that everybody saw)...

I feel that I was made a complete toy for almost 2 years. Should I seek to take revenge (for example by trying to get her fiance's contact information and tell him what kind of ***** she is?)

P/S. There is absolutely no way I was imagining her hints, they were far far far too obvious.

I'm Egyptian, She's Palestinian this story happened in Canada
When we talked, she told me she always thought I was Catholic (which she is.) And this makes me sometimes think that maybe she was serious about me for a second.

Whoa, I don't think she did anything wrong. It is mostly in your head. You took her hints as more than it is. She did not 'dump you' because you two never went out. Sounds like you two are only acquaintances. Some girls are naturally flirty so don't take it personal. Yes your feelings got hurt because you admire her a very long time but that's not her fault. So she gave you the cold shoulder and hang out with some other dude, it happens. Let it go. Why try and ruin her life? It's her business.

If you behaved like a complete toy for almost two years, that's no one's fault but your own. YOU did that. Not her. She does not deserve your revenge. Leave her alone forever.

I'm going to be honest with you. If your response to silent hints of attraction from her is to love her INSANELY, then you're not being very rational and/or I don't think you have a full understanding of how people work. So I think it's safe to assume that maybe you were imagining things. Or if not, you took some subtle hints way way way too far.

And this happened seven months ago.

And you think that some sort of revenge might be appropriate.

I'm not trying to insult you, but your thinking and rationalizing is off. Please seek help. But most importantly, leave the girl alone forever.
