Date of 4-5 months not responding to me
So I decided to edit this post and make it a little more brief.
I've been seeing this guy for 4-5 months but we didn't really start "dating" until recently. Even so, I'm moving away in less than a month so we're not really "together."
Ever since we admitted our feelings to each other a month and a half or so ago, I've been feeling like I've been doing a lot of the work. I feel like I always take the initiative to hang out or communicate in between hang outs.
Recently we hung out on a Thursday. I spent the night at his place and left on Friday. Later that evening, I texted him to see how his day with his friend went. He didn't respond. At first I figured that maybe he A.) didn't get it or B.) left his phone at a friend's house (that's happened before) but it's Sunday and I still haven't heard from him.
A part of me thinks I should contact him but the other part of me feels like if he really did get the text and just isn't answering, I don't want to be the one to contact him AGAIN. And even if he DIDN'T get the text, I just don't like that we go for so long without talking (now two days) unless I make the effort.
What should I do? Should I contact him again or just wait until he finally contacts me? The only reason I'd want to contact him is because I have limited time left in the city until I move away for a year. But I don't want to contact him if he's just over it, seeing someone else, or just not that into me. Should I be worried if he got the text and isn't texting/calling me back? Me taking the initiative to hang out doesn't really bother me because that's how it's been for a while and things have been fine. It's just annoying a bit now.
