To text or not to text?

I met a guy when I was visiting another city and then we started to text each other. I visited the city the following weekend with my friends and we spent the weekend together. I live by the coast so he was interested in coming to visit because he likes to do water sports. Right before I left he said that he would try to take a day off for the entire weekend, but then he said that might come up for one day.

It's getting closer to the weekend and he hasn't contacted me. The weather is not going to be very good this weekend so I just wanted to text him to tell him so. I sort of like the guy and I think that it will be fun for him to come, but I also do not want to look desperate since he said that he was the one coming to here.

Should I text him, facebook him? or let it be?

Just call and talk to him

Believe it or not guys do appreciate it when a girl will step up and ask them out. You don't look desperate, you look interested.

I know but I still feel humiliated for even trying when I knew that he wouldn't respond. I guess this is hitting me harder because I just went through a breap-up. I just hate the humuliation.

Theres nothing wrong with giving it a shot. He did probably liked you but some other circumstances may have came up, who knows. Never think that you weren't good enough, just think, its his loss.

Now you know how guys feel when they try to pursue someone. Its a hit or miss you just never know the out come.......don't think negatively about it, pat yourself on the back for your effort.
