The guy I love has never been with a woman....hes 25

Okay so I just need to get opinions from everyone on this.

So I fall head over heads for a guy at my Uni. I mean he's reserved but polite. Gently spoken but charming and a bit geeky. YADADAD I fell for him. He was in my course for 2/3 years and I just never got by it.

I asked him on a date, he said yes and then left after one drink. I asked him about again and he said he was flattered but not interested.

Normally I'd shrug it as I am a woman who likes to suck it up and move on to the next guy...but he just kept in my head...for 3 years! I've had boyfriends since but it just always felt like he was the perfect one!

ANYWAY, I know for a fact he has never even kissed a girl and is 25. My friends joke about him being gay but I'm unsure. He sits in and plays minecraft all day and just doesnt seem to care about anything aside a few close male mates....


I know other girls (some prettier than me ) have found him attractive but he has turned down....is it possible for a guy to get to 25 like this without being in the closet?

It could be shyness or a lack of confidence which cause him to withdraw rather than reciprocate advances.... But usually that only applies to more subtle advances.
He'd have to have a pretty heavy case of it in order to turn down very direct requests for dates and stuff. It's possible...

Why did he agree to the date with you and then leave after one drink? Why would he bother saying yes if he was gay? Unless he was just testing the waters to see if he could be interested in a girl.
Another possibility is that he found himself unable to continue due to some kind of mental issue and decided to end it early.

It's really hard to say without knowing more about his personality. He very well could just be gay.

your probs to ugly for him. compaired to his minecraft graphics. your a girl! plently of guys will drop for you so dont get stuck up on one guy who doesnt even like you.

I think you want us all to say that he's totally gay and that's the only possible reason he might have for not wanting to date you, but, no, sorry. Maybe he is gay, but his sexual orientation is not your concern. He just wasn't interested. It happens. It doesn't mean you're not lovable, or anything, just that it didn't work out with this particular male.

Also, the "fact" that he hasn't kissed a girl at age 25 is irrelevant, really. He didn't want to kiss you. That's what matters.

Sure it's possible if they have serious self esteem issues. He might never have sex in his lifetime if he doesn't find a way to snap himself out of it.

Way too little information to really psychoanalyze this guy (not that we are trained in that anyway), but MerryH is exactly right. He wasn't interested in dating you. There is not much more to think about than just that. I don't know why you think that he is the perfect one for you, but you really need to rethink that. He can't be the perfect one for you if he is not interested in you as you are in him. Don't spend another moment wondering about this guy, his sexual orientation, his love life, or anything like that.
