Difficult relationship!!
I've been dating my current girlfriend Ashley for roughly around 6 months. She recently went away to Maryland to study at a University and she is going to be there for the next 3-5 years. My feelings for her are vast. We talk on the phone everyday and we webcam every night. I feel very close with her. But here is my problem.
Around the time me and Ashley began dating, I met another girl named Kate. Since Ashley left to Maryland, I've been friends with Kate and I really do like her. I am sure there is potential between me and Kate, but because of Ashley I cannot explore these feelings any further. I honestly like both of them deeply, but I honestly don't know if I can maintain a long distance relationship with Ashley for so many years. I just don't know what to do. I'd like to perhaps give Kate a chance, but she said that she doesn't think she can wait for me to make up my mind any longer..
I am basically ****ed. This is driving me nuts. I want it to work out between me and Ashley but the odds seem against me. What can I honestly do? Kate isn't sure that she wants to wait for me any longer to make up my mind.

Wow, tough life you have there :P.
I love how your post starts by professing these great feelings for Ashley, and then goes on to state how you like someone else too. Classy gentleman to say the least.
Leave Ashley, you're just going to cheat on her with Kate if you don't. And Kate lives close to home, LDRs just plain suck, whereas girlfriends that you see every day can suck in much better ways.

You are not F ucked. Pick Kate because LDRs don't usually work.
