The next step
Hello everyone,
Here's the thing:
I've been talking online about every day with this girl I like whom I also know in real life. Yesterday she came over and cooked for me after which we watched a movie.
It didn't feel awkward to me and it never really had those awful silences but sparks didn't really fly too. We just sat there watching the movie next to each other with arms crossed. We did have a little bit of small-talk afterwards.
Anyways I'm scared to be entering the friend zone. I noticed she never really compliments me on anything and she is going to the movies on saturday afternoon with another guy I know (to the Lion King remake, smart bastard...). Also she commented on a Facebook post within a minute from the guy. They're not (yet) together though.
Anyways friends of mine play in a band and are playing on fridaynight but it's about an hour and a half away with public transport so she wasn't really feeling that. My parents gave a buddy of mine their van though now that their on vacantion so I suggested maybe he could come too and bring us.
I called him today but he had another thing which brings me to my question:
Should I still go to the concert (where there's going to be other female friends) or invite her to come watch another movie on friday at my place and what's a good way to ask that?
Thanks for any advice

If there were no sparks flying when she came over before, why do you care if you are entering the friend zone? I would say do what you want to do (go to the show) and enjoy yourself. This girl is going to go out with this other guy anyway, so missing your friend's show is not going to magically make this girl fall for you. In fact, it may backfire and she may think you are a pushover. And no girl really wants a pushover.
I say take this for what it is and look elsewhere for your romantic interests.
Good luck.

Yes, I agree. If you like each other, just relax and let it develop. You can be friends for a while and see if there might be any 'sparks' in future. First of all find out if you enjoy her company. Baby steps, eh?
