I still miss him

It's been more than a year since the whole thing happened and I still think about him! I still miss him!! Everyday I think about calling him but then I stop myself. It's even about getting back together - it's more about getting a sense of closure. I want to ask him why. Why did he do that? Please, without being mean, tell me what you think I should do. Should I do my best to forget him or should I just call him once? Why do guys make girls fall for them if they don't intend on catching them?! Don't they realize how fragile a girl's heart is when she's in love? More than anything, I'm annoyed at myself. How could I still think about him even though it's been more than a year? Is this normal?
