why is this guy still talking to me?

I met him online last december and we were suppose to hang out in January, but he bailed on me and never asked me to hang out afterwards. Anyways we continued to talked to each other and play games. We spoke on the phone once, then I haven't heard from him until May and he keep bugging me. Almost everyday he kept asking me to hang out with him and I said no. Then once in awhile he would talk to me and ask to hang out and I said no. Now I am trying to ignore him, but last week he texted me and now he is messaging me again... What's up with this guy?

Does he like it because I am hard to get? Some of my friends told me, he sounds desperate. Which I agree to..

the question is what is wrong with you? Why not tell him straight up and say "I do not EVER want to hang out with you so please don't message me again and delete me from your contacts". I bet you are saying "no" in a very passive way..."no, but perhaps some other time *smiley face*"
