water softener

does anyone have any knowledge or suggestions?

I know where I live, it's a necessity unless you want your skin to fall off. I use Culligan.

i am getting to that point, and itching like a dog as well

I use soft water and I find that it is less drying to the skin.

Move to the lower mainland BC Canada and you never have to worry about it.
